I seem to have a Red Horse series going, and this is just one of several pieces (various sizes). Red Horse III is an oil sketch on 5" x 7" canvas greeting card. Sometimes I like to get away from adding too much detail and being too aware of observation. It's fun to let what I know and feel about the horse come through in quick, simple sketches.
